How this is calculated
Electricity is charged at 36.21 HUF/kWh up to the reduced-tariff allowance of 2 523 kWh per year, and at 70.10 HUF/kWh above it. The allowance is applied in proportion to the number of days in the period. Gas is 100 HUF/m³. Both include a standing charge, 153 HUF and 973 HUF per month. Common cost is 20 250 HUF and internet is 9 200 HUF per month.
These figures follow the meter, so they are very close to the real invoices but not identical to the forint. The provider bills on its own cycle and settles the yearly allowance once a year. When that annual statement arrives, we adjust the difference in one correction. Béla will let you know.
